City Chic är tydligen min inredningsstil

City Chic

Your home is a serene and elegant haven displaying some beautiful pieces of furniture. You take real trouble putting a room together and are rightly proud of the overall classic look you have created. Such interiors may have that effortless look but they take time to evolve and require a discerning eye to achieve that welcoming look of lived-in grandeur.

Living Room

Your living room is a welcoming haven of grace and fine taste. If it was good enough for the Ancient Greeks and good enough for Georgian England, it’s good enough for you! In interior design, the classic look is predicated on the ideals by balance, proportion and moderation. It is, to many, intrinsically pleasing to the eye, which is no doubt why it remains an enduringly popular look. In the living room, it’s a style that errs towards formality. Accessories should be used relatively sparingly, as they can clutter and complicate what should be, in its purest form, a harmonious balance between form and function. Rich, bright colours create a room with drama and impact, while linen textiles and soft furnishings never go out of style. Major on comfort in your living room: it’s where you naturally go to listen to music relax and chill out.

Bedroom

Yours is a ‘modern master’ bedroom. Sleep is fundamentally important to our well being. In busy towns and cities, noise can often hamper a good night’s sleep. Soft furnishings really do absorb sound, and touch is such an important sense in the bedroom, from crisp, linen sheets to wool or even sheepskin underfoot. You make quite a statement with clean, strong lines in your bedroom, using the timeless approach of layering white on white to serene effect.

Dining Room

You’re a maestro of minimalism using carefully chosen ingredients. At home, ‘less-is-more’ simplicity appears effortlessly elegant. With so little on show, every single item comes under scrutiny, so it’s important that you give time and thought to your choice of china, glass and cutlery. Try to avoid the ‘designer cliche’ trap, whereby every single piece has impeccable provenance: at best this looks like showing off, at worst it’s sadly predictable. When it comes to entertaining, you like to make an effort for family and friends.

Home Office

You draw inspiration from unlikely people and places. No matter how independent you might be, like everybody else you’ll have bills to pay. A dedicated home office will help you keep on top of the ‘boring bits’. Keep things simple when it comes to the actual desk/work area: too many visual distractions can clutter the mind just as nick-knacks clutter a desk.

Conclusion

You have achieved a stately equilibrium between past and present.

Wow! Allt stämmer förstås inte, men vissa bitar kan jag faktiskt känna igen mig i. Jag undrar om man kan ta in det där i ett CV?

Svar
